Porridge Season 1 Episode 2 The Hustler

Nigel's girlfriend, Denise, and his father, Mr. Fletcher, both attempt to visit him in prison, but Nigel refuses to see them, citing his "busy schedule" with Bridge games.

As Nigel continues to climb the ranks, he attracts the attention of prison officers, including Mr. Barrowclough and Mr. Mackay. The two officers are determined to put an end to the illegal Bridge games and catch the inmates involved in the hustle.

In a dramatic turn of events, Nigel finds himself caught between two rival gangs of inmates, both vying to gain control of the lucrative Bridge games. Nigel's skills as a Bridge player put him in the middle of the feud, and he must decide which side to back, risking his safety in the process.
