Ep 2. The Past isn't The Past

In the second episode of season 6 of Return to Amish titled "The Past isn't The Past," the Amish and Mennonite groups continue their journeys as they explore the English world. Sabrina and Jethro have a heart-to-heart talk about their relationship and their future. Meanwhile, Mary experiences a tragic loss as she receives news that her mother passed away. She must make the difficult decision of returning home to Lancaster to attend the funeral, which brings up a lot of emotions and memories from her past.

The rest of the group travels to New York City where they are introduced to new experiences such as visiting a trendy salon, trying new foods, and learning about different cultures. They are also given the opportunity to attend a modern fashion show, which contrasts greatly with their traditional clothing and values. Despite the excitement of their new adventures, they are reminded of the importance of their roots and the difficulties of their past lives, causing some members to question their decisions of leaving their communities.

As tensions rise and emotions run high, the group must come to terms with their past and future decisions. Will they continue to move forward with their new lives or will they return to their Amish/Mennonite communities? Find out in "The Past isn't The Past" of Return to Amish.
