As they explore the planet, they meet a mysterious female monkey named Trixie, who claims to be searching for the same mineral. Trixie seems to know her way around the planet and offers to help the Rocket Monkeys in their search. However, as they travel deeper into the planet's haunted caves, things get stranger and stranger. Trixie reveals that she is actually a shape-shifter, and she has been tricking the Rocket Monkeys into helping her collect the mineral so she can use it for her own evil plans. Just as things seem hopeless, Wally has an idea and successfully outsmarts Trixie, sending her fleeing back into the caves. The Rocket Monkeys complete their mission and depart from the planet, unscathed.
