Ep 13. Ballistics & BFFs

In episode 13 of Rosewood's first season titled "Ballistics & BFFs," the show follows Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr. (Morris Chestnut) and his best friend Detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz), who are tasked with solving a tragic murder case involving a close friend of Annalise.

Meanwhile, Rosewood tries to keep his relationship with pathology expert Dr. Erica Kincaid (Jaina Lee Ortiz) professional, despite their growing attraction towards each other. This becomes increasingly difficult as Erica is assigned to work on the Shane Mathis case with Rosewood, and they spend more time together.

As the investigation continues, Rosewood and Villa get a break when Shane's car is discovered in a nearby lake. The car contains a gun, leading them to believe that the killer may have ditched the murder weapon. Using ballistics evidence, they are eventually able to link the gun found in the car to the murder and point to a suspect.

Towards the end of the episode, Rosewood and Villa put their case against the suspected killer to the test and are able to finally solve the murder. In a twist that nobody saw coming, they discover that the killer was someone close to Shane and one of his best friends.

Overall, "Ballistics & BFFs" is a thrilling episode filled with suspense, action, and a surprising ending that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. It is a perfect representation of the fantastic detective work and witty banter that audiences come to expect from the show and its dynamic duo.
