Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch is a children's animated television show based on the Archie Comics character Sabrina Spellman. It follows the adventures of Sabrina, a half-witch, half-human teenager, and her friends as they navigate the ups and downs of adolescence while also dealing with magical mishaps and monsters. In season 1, episode 13, titled "Ultra-Stitious", Sabrina and her friends explore the world of superstitions.

The episode begins with Sabrina's human best friend, Jessie, having a run of bad luck after accidentally breaking a mirror. Sabrina, who is well-versed in the world of magic, decides to help Jessie out by using a spell to break the curse. However, after the spell goes awry, Sabrina and her friends find themselves faced with a string of unfortunate events, causing Sabrina to question whether the spell actually worked or if they're just victims of superstition.

As they try to figure out what's causing their bad luck, Sabrina and her friends encounter a superstitious man named Bartholomew, who lives in a house filled with good luck charms and talismans. Bartholomew warns them that they should take superstitions seriously because they have a way of coming true if you don't. Sabrina, however, is convinced that superstitions are just silly beliefs with no actual basis in reality.

Despite Sabrina's skepticism, the bad luck continues to follow them around, causing one mishap after another. Sabrina's pet cat, Salem, who also happens to be a witch in cat form, becomes convinced that there's a jinx on the house and takes matters into his own paws. He becomes determined to find the source of the curse and break it.

Meanwhile, Sabrina and her friends decide to conduct an experiment to test the validity of superstitions. They put together a list of common superstitions, such as walking under a ladder, breaking a mirror, and opening an umbrella indoors, and try to purposely break all of them to see if anything bad happens. At first, it seems like nothing unusual is happening, but as the day goes on, they start to realize that maybe there's more to superstitions than they thought.

Eventually, Salem discovers that the source of the curse is a lost talisman that Bartholomew had been searching for. The talisman had been passed down through his family for generations, and without it, he believed that he would be cursed forever. After finding the lost talisman and returning it to Bartholomew, Sabrina and her friends' bad luck disappears, proving that sometimes superstitions do have a basis in reality.

In the end, Sabrina realizes that maybe there's more to the world of magic than she originally thought. She learns that while not all superstitions are true, some of them might be rooted in real magic and that it's important to have an open mind when it comes to the unknown. The episode ends with Sabrina and her friends laughing off their earlier superstitions and Salem giving them a cheeky grin, happy to have solved the mystery and ended the curse.
