Disney Animation Collection: Vol. 1: Mickey and the Beanstalk

Add to Watchlist

Mickey and the Beanstalk is a classic Disney adaption of the fairy tale Jack and the Beanstalk, with Disney characters in the key roles. Mickey is Jack, while Donald and Goofy play his friends. There is no mother character as there is in the original story, since the characters here are adults.

The plot basically follows that of the fairy tale, with Mickey selling their old cow for three magical beans. Naturally, Donald and Goofy are not happy about this. But the strange beanstalk that grows as a result leads to classic adventure with a giant and a living harp.
