Ep 3. The Wedding

Samantha Who? season 1 episode 3, titled "The Wedding," follows the main character Samantha as she attends her ex-boyfriend Todd's wedding. Throughout the episode, Samantha struggles to figure out how she should feel about the wedding, and whether or not she should try to stop it.

As soon as Samantha arrives at the wedding, she realizes that she still has feelings for Todd. She remembers their past together - the good times, the bad times, and everything in between. In her mind, she begins to dissect the wedding and think about all the ways it could go wrong.

At the same time, Samantha is also dealing with her amnesia. She struggles to remember whether or not Todd was a good guy, or if he was someone she should stay away from. As a result of this internal conflict, she decides to do some investigating.

Samantha spends much of the episode trying to gather clues about the wedding and Todd's fiancé, a woman named Cheryl. She talks to other guests, looks around the reception hall, and tries to read body language to figure out what's really going on.

As the night goes on, Samantha's investigation gets more intense. She begins to question the bride herself, leading to a heated confrontation. At this point, Samantha has to decide whether or not to reveal everything she's learned about Todd and Cheryl to the wedding guests.

Meanwhile, Samantha's mother, Regina, is also dealing with some wedding-related drama of her own. She's been tasked with giving a speech, but is incredibly nervous about it. Through a series of flashbacks, viewers learn that Regina used to be a famous singer, but quit after getting pregnant with Samantha. Regina's storyline adds an extra layer of complexity to the episode, as she grapples with the idea that she may have given up her dream for a family that doesn't really need her anymore.

By the end of "The Wedding," Samantha has made a decision about what to do with her newfound knowledge about Todd and Cheryl. But even as she takes action, she knows that she may be opening herself up to more hurt and confusion down the road.

The episode is filled with laughs, drama, and plenty of heartfelt moments. As Samantha navigates the complexities of her past and present, viewers can't help but root for her as she tries to figure out who she really is. Overall, "The Wedding" is a standout episode from a series that truly understands the meaning of character-driven storytelling.
