Ep 4. Do Right, Vote White!

The Showtime original series Shameless returns for its ninth season with the fourth episode titled "Do Right, Vote White!" The show revolves around the dysfunctional Gallagher family living in the south side of Chicago and their daily struggles with poverty, addiction, and societal issues.

In this episode, the family continues to deal with the aftermath of the death of Fiona's business partner, Ford. Fiona is struggling with the loss and trying to keep her business afloat. Meanwhile, Kev and V are trying to start a grassroots political campaign to save their neighborhood from a corrupt politician. They have a plan to get their candidate elected, but they need the support of their neighbors to make it happen. They have been going door to door, but they are having a hard time convincing people to vote for their candidate. They realize that they need to do something drastic if they want to make a change.

Debbie is still dealing with her pregnancy and trying to figure out how to raise a child on her own. She is struggling to keep her job and take care of Franny at the same time. She reaches out to her mother for help, but Fiona is too preoccupied with her own issues to be of much help. Debbie decides to take matters into her own hands and starts to look for a new job with better hours.

Liam is starting to become more aware of the issues facing his community. He sees how the high rent prices and lack of jobs are affecting his family and his neighbors. He decides to take action and starts to organize a protest to raise awareness about the issues. He enlists the help of his siblings, but they are hesitant to get involved.

As the election draws closer, Kev and V decide to host a block party to get people excited about their candidate. They invite the whole neighborhood and provide food and entertainment. They also use the party as an opportunity to canvas for their candidate. Things seem to be going well, but they soon realize that they are up against a powerful opponent who will stop at nothing to win.

In the end, the Gallaghers come together to support each other and fight for their community. They realize that they are stronger together than they are apart, and that they can make a difference if they work together. The episode ends with the election results coming in, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats wondering what the future holds for the Gallaghers and their community.
