A fire sweeps through the jungle and all the animals join forces to fight the flames. The elephants and the bears rip up trees to create a corridor wide enough to stop the fire, while the other animals save Simba and the cubs too young to fend for themselves by getting them to the river, where the crocodiles carry them to the opposite bank.
