Ep 10. Good Holidays To You

The show Single Parents follow a group of single parents who navigate the ups and downs of raising children while also trying to balance their personal lives. In season 2 episode 10 titled Good Holidays To You, the gang is getting ready for the holiday season.

The episode starts with Angie, played by Leighton Meester, trying to organize a Secret Santa gift exchange among the single parents. However, the task proves to be more difficult than expected, with some parents being too busy to participate, and others having trouble finding the right gift.

Meanwhile, Will, played by Taran Killam, is stressing out about the perfect gift to give his son for Christmas. He turns to his fellow single dads for advice, but their suggestions only make things worse. Eventually, Will decides to take his son on a camping trip for the holidays, which he hopes will be a memorable experience for both of them.

Miggy, played by Jake Choi, is dealing with his own holiday stresses as he struggles to find the perfect gift for his girlfriend. He seeks advice from his friend Douglas, played by Brad Garrett, who suggests that Miggy make a romantic gesture by recreating the famous scene from Love Actually. Miggy is hesitant at first but eventually decides to go through with it, with hilarious results.

Douglas, who has been struggling to connect with his teenage daughter, Poppy, played by Kimrie Lewis, decides to take her on a father-daughter trip for the holidays. However, things quickly go awry when the two get lost in the woods, and Douglas has to rely on Poppy's survival skills to make it out alive.

Finally, Rory, played by Devin Trey Campbell, is excited to spend the holidays with his mother, but when she cancels their plans last minute, he finds himself spending Christmas with the other single parents. Although he is initially disappointed, Rory soon realizes that his makeshift family is just as loving and supportive as any traditional family.

As the episode ends, the single parents come together for a holiday party, where they exchange gifts, share stories, and enjoy each other's company. Despite the unexpected mishaps and stresses, the gang comes to realize that the holidays are about more than just perfect gifts or grand gestures; they are about spending time with the people you love, no matter how unconventional they may be.
