  • September 1, 2016

In So Awkward season 2 episode 2, titled PSHE Hee Hee, the three best friends, Lily, Martha, and Jas, return to school after their summer break. They are greeted with a news report announcing that the school has been ranked the worst in the country for its PSHE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic Education) curriculum.

This news report leaves the girls feeling worried and anxious. As they attend their PSHE class, they realize that their teacher, Mrs. Griggs, is not at all equipped to teach them about the various sensitive and crucial topics that fall under PSHE.

Determined to make a change, the girls decide to take matters into their own hands and come up with a plan to improve the PSHE curriculum at their school. They create a presentation and organize a meeting with the school's headteacher, Mrs. Godfrey, to discuss their concerns and suggestions for improving the PSHE curriculum.

However, things take an unexpected turn when the girls overhear a conversation between Mrs. Griggs and Mrs. Godfrey, wherein Mrs. Griggs reveals that she is planning to quit her job as a PSHE teacher. The girls are shocked by this news, as they realize that they might not be able to get a proper PSHE education if there isn't a qualified teacher to teach them.

Despite this setback, the girls decide to go ahead with their meeting with Mrs. Godfrey. They are surprised to learn that Mrs. Godfrey is open to hearing their suggestions and is willing to work with them to improve the PSHE curriculum.

The girls present their ideas to Mrs. Godfrey, which include bringing in outside speakers and implementing more interactive learning methods. Mrs. Godfrey is impressed by their ideas and agrees to work with the girls to implement these changes.

In the end, the girls are able to make a positive impact on their school's PSHE curriculum and feel proud of the changes they have brought about. This episode highlights the importance of students taking initiative and advocating for their education, as well as the crucial role of qualified teachers in providing a well-rounded education.
