Meanwhile, Jack and Victor's trip takes an unexpected turn. They stumble upon a woman named Edith, a former flame of Jack's who has recently lost her husband. Despite their age and differing personalities, Jack and Edith rekindle their romance and spend the last night of their trip together.

As the episode comes to a close, the trio returns home to Craiglang, where they are greeted with open arms and a newfound appreciation for their community.
