Ep 20. Hear No Evil

Tessa is in for a rude awakening in "Hear No Evil", the 20th episode of Suburgatory's first season. When she starts hearing loud noises coming from her neighbor Sheila's apartment, Tessa complains to George about it. George advises Tessa to just ignore the noise, but Tessa can't stand the thought of just letting it go.

Meanwhile, Sheila has decided to start working on her scream therapy again. She believes that screaming can cure all ailments and help her live a better life, but her neighbor Tessa is not a believer. Between Sheila's screaming and her loud house band, Tessa is on the verge of a breakdown.

Tessa decides to go over to Sheila's apartment to confront her about the noise. After a heated argument, Sheila agrees to turn down the volume of her music, but she refuses to stop screaming. It seems like Tessa will have to find a way to drown out Sheila's screams until she can't hear them anymore.

In an effort to escape from Sheila's noise, Tessa decides to go to a party with Ryan and Lisa. At the party, Tessa meets an older woman named Eden who takes Tessa under her wing. Eden, who is a successful artist, invites Tessa to a modern art show and Tessa agrees to go.

While at the art show, Tessa starts to realize that there are a lot of things she doesn't know about the world. She also realizes that her current life in Suburgatory is not all there is to life. Tessa begins to wonder what else is out there and what she might be missing.

Back in Suburgatory, George is having his own problems with a neighbor. When George's neighbor Sheila complains about George's dog barking too loudly, George decides to take revenge. He starts making noise all night by playing loud music and video games. Sheila, who has started to enjoy the quiet, is not happy about George's noise.

As the episode comes to a close, Tessa is forced to confront Sheila again. This time, Tessa learns why Sheila screams so much. It turns out that Sheila has a lot of pain from her past that she hasn't dealt with yet. Tessa realizes that sometimes people act the way they do not because they want to, but because they have no other way of dealing with their problems.

"Hear No Evil" is a thought-provoking episode that examines how people deal with their problems. The episode shows that sometimes it's better to understand someone than to try to change them. It also shows that there is a whole world out there waiting to be explored.
