Tessa and Ryan are still with their mother, Alex, in New York City. Tessa is having trouble adjusting to the new environment and lifestyle, and seems to be acting out. Ryan, on the other hand, is taking the opportunity to explore the city and enjoy his new surroundings.

Back in Chatswin, Sheila is determined to find out who has been stealing her ferns. She accuses one of her neighbors, Mrs. Whitmore, of being a witch and casting a spell on her plants. The rumor spreads throughout the community, and everyone starts to believe that Mrs. Whitmore is indeed a witch.

Meanwhile, George is struggling with his relationship with Dallas. He wants to take their relationship to the next level, but Dallas is hesitant. They try to work through their issues, but it seems like they may not be on the same page.

When Tessa returns home, she starts to notice the strange behavior of her friends and neighbors. Everyone is convinced that Mrs. Whitmore is a witch and is out to get them. Tessa sets out to prove that there is no such thing as witches and that Mrs. Whitmore is simply a harmless old woman who loves her plants.

In the end, Tessa uncovers the truth behind the missing ferns, and it turns out that Mrs. Whitmore was innocent all along. The community is relieved and ashamed of their behavior, and Tessa learns that sometimes it's better to believe in people rather than stereotypes.

Overall, this episode touches on themes of acceptance, trust, and judgement. It shows the dangers of believing in rumors and stereotypes, and how important it is to approach situations with an open mind.
