Tessa and George are excited about their first Christmas in the suburbs, but they quickly discover that the neighborhood tradition of "Krampuslauf" is not what they expected. The annual event involves residents dressing up as the mythical Christmas demon, Krampus, and scaring the children of the town while carrying switches to represent punishment for bad behavior. Tessa and George are horrified by the tradition, but the rest of the neighborhood seems to revel in it.

As Tessa tries to navigate the strange customs of her new town, she also deals with a holiday romance that may or may not be going anywhere. Meanwhile, George struggles to find the perfect gift for Tessa, and his ex-girlfriend Dallas seems to be moving on with her life.

Throughout the episode, Tessa and George try to find a way to enjoy the holidays in Suburgatory while still staying true to their own values and beliefs. They must decide whether to join in with the neighborhood festivities or to stick to their own traditions. Along the way, they learn more about themselves and what it means to be part of a community.

Krampus is a hilarious and heartwarming episode that explores the complexities of cultural traditions, relationships, and holiday cheer. With great performances from the cast and plenty of witty dialogue, it is a must-see for fans of the show.
