Tessa decides she needs to focus on herself for a while and starts to explore her own interests. This leads her to start a poetry club at school, which attracts a group of misfits and outcasts. Meanwhile, Dahlia continues to struggle with her identity crisis and turns to booze and prescription drugs to help her cope. Lisa also struggles with her own identity when she starts to question her relationship with Malik and whether or not she is truly happy with him. George tries to be a supportive father and friend to everyone, but finds himself overwhelmed with the drama happening around him.
