Bay invites Ty to dinner with her family, but things get off to a rocky start when she learns that he has been offered a job that would take him away from Kansas City and, consequently, her. Meanwhile, Kathryn and Daphne are nervous about a cooking competition, and Regina learns how to be more patient with her roommate, Toni.
