Ep 15. And We Bring the Light

In Switched at Birth season 3 episode 15, entitled "And We Bring the Light," we continue to follow the lives of the Kennish and Vasquez families as they navigate the aftermath of the accident that left Bay and Daphne injured on their community service trip.

At the beginning of the episode, Bay is still struggling with PTSD and has been avoiding school. She confides in Emmett, who encourages her to try art therapy as a way to cope with her trauma. Meanwhile, Daphne is feeling guilty about the accident and decides to reach out to the victim's family to apologize in person.

As the episode progresses, we see the Kennish and Vasquez families come together to plan a fundraiser for the victim's family. While planning the event, we see tensions rise between Regina and Kathryn over conflicting ideas for the fundraiser's direction. Elsewhere, Angelo is struggling with his new job and the pressure to provide for his family. He confides in Bay, telling her that he's thinking of quitting and feels like he's failing as a father. Bay, wanting to help, suggests that he try expanding his catering business. Angelo takes her advice and ultimately decides to pursue his passion and start his own food truck business.

In the final moments of the episode, we see the Kennish and Vasquez families come together once again to light candles in honor of the victim of the accident. As they reflect on the events of the past few weeks, we see them come to a place of understanding and unity.

"And We Bring the Light" is a poignant and emotional episode that explores themes of trauma, guilt, and family. It is a powerful reminder of how important it is to rely on the support of loved ones when facing difficult times.
