Winter is now upon us and the herd of elk has migrated in search of food. Moose, the youngest of the herd, is weak, and falls behind the others. Our little wolf-cubs find him and save him in extremis. Tap-Tap, the young beaver, and Wahi the squirrel finds white lichen under the ice, the only food left for the elk.
