Ms. Bennigan, played by Katy Colloton, is the newbie teacher who is trying to find her place in the school. Ms. Watson, played by Caitlin Barlow, is the well-meaning teacher who often gets herself into awkward situations. Ms. Feldman, played by Kate Lambert, is the laid-back teacher who is more concerned about her social life than her job. Ms. Cannon, played by Cate Freedman, is the uptight and strict teacher who insists on following the rules. Finally, Ms. Davis, played by Katie O’Brien, is the wild-card teacher who is never quite predictable.

As the episode progresses, we see each of the six teachers go about their daily routines, from Ms. Snap getting into an argument with the school's security guard, to Ms. Bennigan trying to impress her fellow teachers with her knowledge of current events. Along the way, we also learn about the teachers' personal lives, including Ms. Snap's disastrous dating life and Ms. Watson's awkward encounters with a former student.

Throughout the episode, the teachers also interact with the students in their classes, which provides a glimpse into the challenges of teaching young children. For example, Ms. Bennigan struggles with how to handle a student who refuses to participate in class, while Ms. Feldman tries to cover up a mistake she made on a test.

As the episode comes to a close, the teachers all come together for a school-wide assembly, where Ms. Snap makes a snarky comment that gets her in trouble, and Ms. Bennigan finally gains some respect from her colleagues.
