Happily Divorced was a sitcom that aired on TV Land from 2011 to 2013. The show starred Fran Drescher, who was also the co-creator and executive producer of the series. Other notable cast members included Rita Moreno, Joan Collins, Valente Rodriguez, and John Michael Higgins.

The show followed the life of Fran Lovett (played by Fran Drescher), a Los Angeles-based florist who is unexpectedly thrown into a new life after her husband of 18 years, Peter Lovett (played by John Michael Higgins), comes out as gay. Despite their separation, Fran and Peter continue to share their house and work together in their florist shop. The show explored the dynamics of their unconventional relationship as they navigate their new lives as divorced, but still very much involved, partners.

Fran had to learn how to move on from her failed marriage and start dating again, while still managing to maintain an amicable relationship with Peter. Meanwhile, Peter struggled with his newfound freedom as a gay man and the challenges that came with it. Throughout the series, the pair go on dates, flirt with other people, and occasionally blur the boundaries of their post-divorce arrangement, leading to hilarious mishaps and misadventures.

The show also featured Rita Moreno as Fran's mother, Dori, a woman who is constantly meddling in her daughter's affairs and offering her unsolicited advice on how to find a new partner. Joan Collins, best known for her role as Alexis Carrington on the 1980s primetime soap opera Dynasty, also made an appearance as Peter's mother, who was initially disapproving of her son's sexuality but eventually came around to accept and support him.

Valente Rodriguez played Cesar, Fran and Peter's friend and co-worker at their florist shop. He was often the voice of reason and the one who helped keep the peace between Fran and Peter when their relationship became strained. His character was also portrayed as a stereotypical Mexican-American who often speaks Spanglish and makes jokes about his heritage.

Happily Divorced was a lighthearted comedy that tackled the serious subject of divorce and the challenges that come with it in a humorous and relatable way. Fran Drescher's signature voice and impeccable comedic timing made the show a joy to watch, and the talented supporting cast brought their own unique personalities to the mix.

The show was praised for its realistic portrayal of a divorcing couple who still care for each other and need to work together to move forward. The chemistry between Fran and Peter felt genuine and their interactions were both heartwarming and hilarious. The show also tackled issues such as coming out later in life and the difficulty of finding love again after a long-term marriage.

Unfortunately, the show was canceled after only two seasons, leaving fans disappointed and wanting more. However, the legacy of Happily Divorced lives on, as it is still remembered as a groundbreaking comedy that tackled important issues while making audiences laugh.

Happily Divorced is a series that is currently running and has 2 seasons (34 episodes). The series first aired on June 15, 2011.
