Ep 21. Kelso's Serenade

Kelso decides that he wants to serenade Jackie in an effort to win her back, but he needs the help of the gang to pull it off. Hyde suggests that they all dress up in suits and surprise her with a performance outside of her window. Kelso is hesitant at first, but with encouragement from his friends, he decides to go through with it.

Meanwhile, Eric is upset with Donna because she seems more interested in her college radio show than spending time with him. He confides in Fez, who suggests that he should talk to her about it. Eric tries to talk to Donna, but she brushes him off and tells him that she needs to focus on her career.

As the gang prepares for the serenade, they realize that they need a song to perform. Hyde suggests "My Girl" by The Temptations, but Kelso insists on singing a song he wrote himself. The song is terrible, but the gang helps him practice and improve it.

When they arrive at Jackie's house, they find that her parents are throwing a party and the backyard is full of people. Kelso wants to back out, but Hyde and the gang push him to go through with it. They start singing and playing their instruments, but they're quickly drowned out by the partygoers.

Fez suggests that they try a different approach, and they decide to play a slow song. Kelso starts singing "If" by Bread, and the crowd quiets down. Jackie hears the song and comes outside to see what's going on. Kelso dedicates the song to her and sings his heart out.

As the song ends, Jackie approaches Kelso and tells him that he's forgiven. They kiss, and the gang cheers them on. Eric sees this and realizes that he needs to be more supportive of Donna's aspirations. He apologizes to her and tells her that he's proud of her.

In the end, Kelso and Jackie are back together, and Eric and Donna make up. The gang is happy, and they all celebrate with burgers and beer at the local burger joint.
