Ep 4. Everything must have a beginning

Chise begins to settle into her new role as Elias' apprentice, using her powers to help him with his work as a mage. However, she still struggles with her own self-worth and the trauma from her past. Meanwhile, Elias introduces Chise to one of his old colleagues, a powerful mage named Lindel. Lindel teaches Chise about the importance of balance in magic, and the two go on a journey to gather materials for an important spell. Along the way, Chise reflects on her own journey and begins to understand the true meaning of balance in magic and in life.
