Deacon asks Amber to give him a chance, promising that he won't disappoint her. Amber quietly tells him that she's leaving tonight. She shows him the document, explaining that she's doing this for him. Deacon tells her that it takes away the two most important things in his life. Amber reminds him that if she stays the month he'll have no rights to Little Eric. Deacon believes Amber is just afraid of the feelings that she has for him. He insists that the best thing for Little Eric is to be with the two of them. Amber tells Deacon that Rick loves Little Eric and will be a good father. Deacon tells Amber that something's happening between them - they're falling in love. He asks her if she can turn her back on the best thing that's ever happened to either of them and asks for the chance to give her the happiness she deserves. Taylor apologizes to Ridge for the way she treated him and for blaming him for what happened to Steffy. Ridge accepts her apology and kisses her passionately. Stephanie advises Brooke to change her attitude because Rick and Amber are getting married. Jonathan points out that while Deacon will get visitation if he signs, there is nothing in the new document about paying him a million dollars. Rick is sure that Deacon will refuse to sign if he notices the omission. Later, he assures Stephanie that at this time next week he and Amber will be married.
