Brooke hopes that Deacon and Amber are getting together because she wants them both out of the family once and for all. Amber tries to stop Deacon, reminding him that they're both married. Deacon wants them to prove what's there and asks her to let herself go, just once. Amber is about to give in, then breaks away. She tells Deacon that she will never cheat on her husband. She confesses that she loves him, but she's staying with Rick. She adds that she'll never believe that Deacon loves Bridget. Deacon assures her that he loves Bridget the way Amber loves Rick, and if he can't have Amber, then Bridget is the one he wants. They look at each other with tears in their eyes. Deacon kisses Amber and calls it their last kiss ever. While Kristen excitedly gets ready for her date, Tony wonders why this is happening to him now that he's found someone to share the rest of his life with.
