Ep 3. Just Smash It Out

In the third episode of The Carbonaro Effect's first season, titled "Just Smash It Out," Michael Carbonaro once again sets out to amaze and bewilder unsuspecting members of the public with his unique brand of magic and illusion. The jogger is flabbergasted when he sees Carbonaro magically inserting dollar bills into the machine as if they had just flown in on the wind. Carbonaro then has the machine rush off with a sound effect of a laugh track, leaving the stunned jogger standing there with his soda in hand.

The show then moves on to a jewelry store, where Carbonaro assumes the role of a salesman. He convinces a couple to try on a few pieces of jewelry and then proceeds to make the jewelry "disappear" by dropping it into a box. The couple's reaction is priceless as they discover that the jewelry has indeed vanished into thin air! Carbonaro then proceeds to play an elaborate game of hide-and-seek with the distraught couple until they are at the point of tears, at which point he finally makes the jewelry "reappear" in a spectacular fashion.

In the next scene, Carbonaro is hanging out in a coffee shop when he meets a friendly stranger. This stranger is initially skeptical of Carbonaro's claims to have special powers, but soon becomes a believer after a series of mind-boggling illusions. Carbonaro has the stranger pour sugar on his hand and then magically turn it into a real live butterfly, which flies around the coffee shop astonishing other patrons. This trick is followed up by Carbonaro showing the stranger how he can predict the future by using a deck of playing cards.

Finally, the show wraps up with a spectacular trick involving Carbonaro and a group of children at a playground. Carbonaro has set up a series of elaborate illusions designed to make playground equipment come to life, and the children are thrilled to be a part of it. They are amazed when they see swings suddenly flying through the air and slides that seem to go on forever, all thanks to Carbonaro's amazing magic.
