Saiki is surprised by how nice she is and starts to feel a sense of relief that he has met someone normal for a change.

However, things take a turn for the worse when Makoto decides to show up at the restaurant and start causing trouble. She is jealous of the attention Saiki is giving Nendou's mom and decides to cause a scene that sends everyone running. Saiki is left to deal with the aftermath and tries to keep his head down while Makoto makes a show of herself.

The rest of the episode is spent following Saiki as he tries to deal with his frustrations and deal with his psychic powers. He has to use his abilities to prevent Makoto from causing any more trouble, all while trying to keep his cool in front of Nendou's mom.

In the end, Saiki manages to use his psychic powers to keep Makoto under control and even earns a little bit of respect from her. He also manages to get a ride home from Nendou's mom, who is more than happy to help him out. The episode ends with Saiki finally getting some rest and feeling a little bit more in control of his life.
