On season 8 episode 36 of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the one and only Taylor Swift graces the stage. The episode opens with Ellen's classic comedic monologue and a few words about Swift's new album, "Speak Now." The audience is clearly excited to see the superstar and cheers loudly when Ellen introduces her.

Taylor enters the stage looking radiant in a sparkly purple dress and greets Ellen with a hug. They sit down and begin chatting about Swift's new album, which Ellen praises as a "huge success." Taylor seems genuinely grateful for the positive reception and talks about how much work went into creating it.

The conversation then turns to Taylor's personal life, specifically her dating experiences. Ellen, always a good sport, brings up Taylor's history of dating famous men and asks if she's currently seeing anyone. Taylor smiles coyly and responds that she's "really happy" but doesn't want to talk about it too much.

Ellen then asks Taylor about her recent appearance on Saturday Night Live, where she appeared in a hilarious sketch with comedian Andy Samberg. Taylor laughs and says she had a blast filming it, and loved the opportunity to poke fun at herself.

As always, Ellen isn't content to just talk - she wants to play a game! She introduces a game called "Taylor Swift or Taylor Not," where she reads out a series of statements and Taylor has to guess whether they're true or false. The game is a lot of fun and Taylor proves to be very good at guessing correctly.

Next up, Ellen shows a video of a young boy named Adam who's a huge Taylor Swift fan. Adam talks about how much he loves her music and how much it's helped him through tough times. Taylor looks visibly moved when watching the video and says she feels honored that her music can have such a positive impact on people's lives.

The show then takes a musical turn, as Taylor performs her hit song "Mine" to rapturous applause from the audience. She sounds incredible and the energy in the room is electric.

After the performance, Ellen and Taylor chat a bit more about her career and upcoming plans. Ellen asks about Taylor's recent trip to Asia, where she performed several sold-out shows. Taylor talks about how much she loves connecting with fans all over the world and how grateful she is for their support.

The episode ends with Ellen and Taylor thanking each other and saying their goodbyes. It's clear that these two have a genuine fondness for each other, and it's always a joy to see Taylor on Ellen's show.
