In season 8 episode 64 of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen welcomes two incredible guests to the show: Jane Fonda and Rosemarie DeWitt.
Jane Fonda is an iconic actress, activist, and author who has been a household name for decades. She joins Ellen to talk about her latest film project, Book Club, in which she stars alongside Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen, and Mary Steenburgen. The film follows four lifelong friends who spice up their monthly book club meetings by reading Fifty Shades of Grey, which inspires them to look for new love and live their lives to the fullest. Rosemarie DeWitt is a talented actress who has appeared in a variety of films and TV shows, including United States of Tara, Mad Men, and La La Land. She joins Ellen to talk about her latest project, the Netflix thriller series called The Last Tycoon. The show is set in 1930s Hollywood and follows the story of Monroe Stahr, a driven and ambitious studio executive who clashes with his boss, the powerful but ruthless Pat Brady. Rosemarie plays Rose Brady, Pat's daughter and a rising starlet who becomes involved with Monroe both personally and professionally. She discusses the complex characters and relationships in the show, as well as the challenges and rewards of playing a character from a bygone era.
Throughout the episode, Ellen also shares her trademark humor and lighthearted banter with her guests.
