The Eric Andre Show season 2 episode 6, titled "Wink Martindale / Sarah Burns," is a surreal and chaotic talk show hosted by comedian Eric Andre. In this episode, Eric welcomes two guests to the show: game show host Wink Martindale and actress Sarah Burns.

From the very beginning, it's clear that this is not your typical talk show. Eric's comedic style is absurd and often confrontational, with bizarre sketches, pranks, and stunts dominating the show's format. The set is deliberately shabby and dilapidated, with mismatched furniture, broken props, and walls adorned with strange artwork and graffiti.

The episode opens with Eric introducing himself and his bandleader, Hannibal Buress, with a haphazard song that includes references to cheese and genocide. The first guest of the night is Wink Martindale, a legendary game show host who rose to fame in the 1960s and 70s hosting shows like Tic-Tac-Dough and Gambit. Wink appears on the show to promote his new book, Winking at Life, but quickly finds himself caught up in Eric's antics.

Throughout the interview, Eric asks Wink bizarre and inappropriate questions, throws objects at him, and engages in physical comedy. At one point, Eric smears his face with cake and proceeds to lick it off in front of Wink, who looks bewildered and uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Hannibal interjects with deadpan remarks and sarcastic commentary, adding to the overall absurdity.

Despite the chaotic atmosphere, Wink maintains his composure and even manages to make a few jokes of his own. However, as the interview progresses, it becomes clear that Eric has a specific agenda. He repeatedly asks Wink if he's a member of the Illuminati, a secretive organization often associated with conspiracy theories. Although Wink denies any involvement, Eric continues to press the issue, suggesting that Wink is part of a malevolent cabal.

After the interview, Eric introduces Sarah Burns, an actress known for her roles in movies like I Love You, Man and TV series like Californication. Sarah initially seems more prepared for Eric's brand of comedy, but is soon subjected to the same kind of chaotic energy as Wink. Eric throws objects at her, asks inappropriate questions, and even pretends to faint at one point.

However, despite the absurdity, the interview with Sarah is a little more grounded than with Wink. Eric and Sarah discuss her career, her experiences working with director David Lynch, and the challenges of being a female comedian in Hollywood. Sarah proves to be a good sport, gamely playing along with Eric's antics and even participating in some of the show's bizarre sketches.

One of the most memorable moments of the episode is a sketch involving a fake game show called "Blind Knievel," in which Eric and Sarah take turns attempting to jump over a lineup of objects while blindfolded. The sketch is ridiculous and dangerous, with Eric crashing into various items and Sarah narrowly avoiding a collision with a chainsaw.

Overall, The Eric Andre Show season 2 episode 6 is a wild and unpredictable ride, full of surreal humor, subversive satire, and boundary-pushing comedy. While it may not be for everyone, fans of Eric's unique brand of humor will find plenty to enjoy in this episode, which showcases the show's strengths as a vehicle for outrageous and unapologetic comedy.
