Ep 18. When Haskell Met Sammy

When Haskell Met Sammy is the eighteenth episode of the third season of The Exes, a sitcom that aired on TV Land in the US from 2011 to 2015. Phil, played by Donald Faison, comes to the rescue and saves the day by ordering takeout, but not before Stuart accidentally throws a pan out the window and hits a pedestrian. Phil ends up taking the blame for the accident, claiming he was the one who threw the pan, much to Stuart's surprise.

Back at the apartment, Haskell is getting ready for his date with Sammy when Holly, played by Kristen Johnston, and Eden, played by Kelly Stables, come over. Holly is there to ask Haskell about a potential client, but Haskell is distracted by his date and ultimately blows off Holly. Eden, however, notices something different about Haskell and realizes that he is actually excited about a woman for the first time in a long time.

Haskell and Sammy's date is going well until they run into Sammy's ex-husband, who is just as terrible as she described. Haskell tries to defend Sammy, but ends up getting into a physical altercation with the ex-husband and getting kicked out of the restaurant. Despite the setback, Sammy and Haskell continue their date at a diner and end up having a great time.

The episode ends with Stuart and Marcie snuggling on the couch while Phil secretly eats their takeout, and Haskell and Sammy sharing a goodnight kiss outside the apartment building, hinting at a potential future for the two lovebirds.
