Tom meets Paul and Mac in the track field, where they discuss the mysterious events they witnessed the previous night. Sarah urges Tom to find Neil as he might hold the key to stopping Polus and saving humanity.

In an effort to gather more information, Tom and Paul break into the local library and search for books on the supernatural. They stumble upon an old manuscript, which contains a prophecy about a chosen one who possesses the power to defeat the Fades. Tom, convinced that he might be this chosen one, becomes determined to embrace his destiny and protect the world from destruction.
