Tom Thomas' mom is stressed about her busy day and just wants a cup of coffee, but the machine keeps malfunctioning. After a frustrated outburst, Tom reassures her the machine will work if treated kindly. Miraculously, it brews coffee, and Mom believes it's a miracle. Simka almost reveals herself, but Tom covers, and Mom leaves happy, singing.
