As they frantically try to fix the problem, Denholm reveals his incredibly poor knowledge of technology by suggesting they "kick it" to make it work.

As the IT staff tries to solve the problem, they encounter unexpected obstacles, such as Moss accidentally breaking into the women's restroom while trying to access a different area of the building. The staff finally manages to restore the internet access, but not before a comical exchange that exemplifies the over-the-top humor of the show.

Back at Jen's apartment, the dinner party is about to begin. Roy and Moss are present, along with Jen's female flatmate and male friend. However, Jen realizes that the 50/50 website failed to send an invitation to her male friend. As a result, the male friend believes that he was not invited and leaves, effectively ruining the entire dinner party.

With no one else to turn to, Jen rings IT support and helplessly begs for Roy and Moss to come back to the building. The episode ends with the three IT staff members standing outside the building, gazing up at the lit windows, and discussing the peculiarities of Jen's personality.
