Ep 9. Episode 9

Uhtred and Leofric lead their men in an attack on the Dane camp, but things do not go according to plan. Uhtred engages in a one-on-one fight with Ubba, one of the most fearsome warriors in the Dane army. Meanwhile, Ragnar and Brida make important decisions regarding their future, and Alfred prepares for battle with the Danes. A betrayal among the Saxons puts their already difficult position in greater jeopardy, and Uhtred is forced to make a difficult choice in order to save his men. As the battle draws near, tensions rise and alliances are tested. In the end, the fate of England hangs in the balance.
