Watch The Shannara Chronicles

The Shannara Chronicles is an hour TV fantasy drama scripted show which airs on MTV on Tuesday nights. The show stars Austin Butler, Ivana Baquero, and Poppy Drayton as main characters Wil Ohmsford, Amberle Elessedil, and Eretria. The series is based on Terry Brooks' novels, The Sword of Shannara Trilogy.

The three main characters have to protect their world, the Four Lands, from evil demons by using their warrior skills and unlocking an unknown power from the beginning of time. Along the way they have to protect a magical tree to ensure the demons doesn't come into their world and cause more trouble. The show began its run in January, and is scheduled to air ten episodes in its first season run.

The Shannara Chronicles airs on MTV on Tuesday nights at 10 pm.

The Shannara Chronicles Full Episode Guide

  • Wil and Mareth search for answers; while visiting a nearby kingdom, King Ander seeks reinforcement and is given an ultimatum.

  • A year after the War of the Forbidding, Wil's new life is interrupted by a mysterious new figure. Eretria is reunited with someone from her past. Meanwhile, Allanon uncovers a plot that could send the Four Lands into darkness.

  • Wil and Amberle race to reach the Ellcrys while Allanon and Ander lead the Elvin army in an epic battle against the Dagda Mor and his Demon horde. But the cost of their quest could prove too great, altering everyone’s destinies forever.

  • With time running out, Wil, Amberle and Eretria must cross ancient Human ruins in order to get to the Bloodfire. But an abominable evil stands in their way and ultimately tests their relationships.

  • Wil and Amberle are determined to find Eretria to save her from the vicious elf hunters who kidnapped her. Unbeknownst to them, she's stumbled upon a secret settlement of Humans and may finally feel like she belongs.

  • Amberle and Eretria are desperate to shake bloodthirsty Elf Hunters who get a thrill from cutting off elves' ears.

  • Trying to escape the Reaper, Amberle, Wil and Eretria take shelter in Pykon, a snowy Elvin outpost that houses a grisly secret. Meanwhile, Ander and Slanter make a disastrous discovery about the Dagda Mor's forces.

  • Amberle, Wil and Eretria must set aside their differences to survive the dangers of their quest, including the nightmarish Reaper. At the palace, Ander attempts to recruit help from an unlikely ally to find the Dagda Mor.

  • While proving herself to the Ellcrys, the Dagda Mor releases the Changeling to kill her and anything in its path.

  • After Allanon is gravely injured, Wil and Amberle are kidnapped by Eretria and Cephalo while returning to the palace. But the Rovers are the least of their worries -Wil must learn how to use the Elfstones before a bloodthirsty Fury kills them all.

MTV Renews Shannara Chronicles

MTV's fantasy series is aimed at the youngsters, at least in comparison to its fantasy-series competition, and so far, the series' target audience has been big enough to warrant a renewal from the network.
