In The Lost Tomb season 1 episode 2, titled "Haunting Hours," the adventure of the characters continues as they look for the lost tomb of the Tang dynasty. Wu Xie, the main character, is determined to unravel the mystery behind his grandfather's disappearance, who was searching for the same tomb before him.
At the beginning of the episode, the team is still trying to figure out what the markings on the map mean. They are clueless but keep on exploring the terrain, hoping to find some clues. Suddenly, a strong wind picks up, and they hear eerie sounds. The team, already on edge, gets worried about what kind of supernatural creature might be lurking around.
Wu Xie takes charge and tries to calm the team down. He explains that the area they are in has a lot of folklore surrounding it and that it is common for people to hear such sounds. He also reminds them that they need to focus on their mission and not let anything distract them.
With Wu Xie's encouragement, the team moves forward, but they soon come across another trap that almost kills one of them. They stop to re-evaluate their situation and come to the realization that they will need to rely on each other for their safety. They also come to understand that they will need to use their collective knowledge to interpret the symbols on the map to find the lost tomb.
As they continue exploring, the team finds some mysterious markings on the wall of a cave. These markings suggest that the tomb they are looking for is nearby, but they still can't figure out what the symbols mean. Without answers, they decide to take a break and set up camp to go through their notes and re-examine the map.
Just as they begin to relax, strange things start to happen. Mysterious noises, ghostly figures, and supernatural occurrences all create an eerie ambiance, causing the members of the team to believe that they are being haunted. The team tries to stay calm, but it becomes harder as the night progresses.
As the night goes on, each member starts sharing ghost stories they have heard of, adding to the stir of fear that had already been set. Suddenly, the team hears a blood curdling scream from the nearby forest, and they rush out to investigate. What they find is astonishing - a temple.
In the temple, Wu Xie finds a book that might contain answers to what they're seeking, and they are finally able to decipher the missing information they need to find the lost tomb. The team is excited, and their spirits are lifted as they head back to the cave to continue their quest.
