Alice and Quentin discover a new way to travel through time, which leads them to embark on an epic quest in the hopes of finding a key that will help them save the life of someone they love. Along the way, they encounter magical creatures and mystical obstacles that test their strength and resolve. Meanwhile, Penny comes face to face with his own mortality and grapples with the decisions he's made that have led him to this moment. Eliot and Margo must navigate a delicate political situation in order to protect the Fillorian people from danger, all while dealing with personal and emotional struggles of their own.
