Ep 19. I Believe I Can Drive

The Neighbors season 1 episode 19, "I Believe I Can Drive," follows the Weaver family as they scramble to prepare for their son Max's impending driving test. Debbie (Jami Gertz) is determined to help Max (Max Charles) pass the test on his first try, but her confidence in her own driving skills is lacking. Meanwhile, Larry (Simon Templeman) and Jackie (Toks Olagundoye) offer to teach Max how to drive using their own unique methods.

Throughout the episode, the Weaver family also deals with other issues, such as Jackie's inability to understand human expressions and emotions, and the rest of the alien community's fascination with Earth's slang phrases.

In the end, Max passes his driving test with flying colors, thanks to Debbie's practical advice and Larry and Jackie's otherworldly techniques. The episode ends with the entire neighborhood celebrating Max's accomplishment, and the Weavers realizing that they have finally become a part of the alien community.
