The Price is Right Season 36 Episode 14 Season 36, Episode 14
- November 1, 2007
The Price is Right is back with another exciting episode from Season 36, featuring the ultimate thrill of guessing prices while trying to win fabulous prizes. Hosted by the charismatic Drew Carey, this episode features four contestants competing against each other in a series of glamorous games and challenges for a chance to win cash, cars, and countless other prizes.
In the first round, contestants are presented with a series of household items such as a blender, a coffee maker, or a toaster, and are required to guess the price of each item. The contestant who gets the closest to the actual price, without going over, gets to advance to the next round.
The second round is a physical challenge, where contestants play a game such as Plinko or Punch-a-Bunch, all in the hopes of winning large cash prizes. In Plinko, contestants drop a coin down a pegboard, hoping to land in one of several winning slots that range from a few hundred dollars to the grand prize of $50,000. In Punch-a-Bunch, contestants punch out small holes in a paper board to reveal hidden cash prizes, ranging from $1 all the way up to $25,000.
Next up is a game called "One Away," where contestants are presented with a car and five empty spaces beneath it. Each space has a digit, and the contestant must guess the correct price of the car by choosing numbers one away from the ones displayed. For example, if the price of the car is $25,000 and the contestant is shown the numbers "3" and "7", they would select "4" and "6" because they are one away from the original numbers. If they are correct, they win the car!
The fourth round is called "Any Number," and it's a game of chance where contestants choose numbers to reveal the price of a prize, such as a laptop or a trip to Hawaii. Each correct number that is guessed, reveals its place in the prize's total price. If all the numbers in the prize are guessed correctly, the contestant wins it!
The fifth and final round is the Showcase Showdown, where contestants spin the famous giant wheel in hopes of landing on either 100 or as close to it as possible without going over. Whoever spins the closest to 100 without going over gets to advance to the final showcase where they will compete for an ultimate prize package, featuring lavish vacations, cars, and more.
With high stakes and fierce competition, The Price is Right remains one of the longest-running and most beloved game shows in television history. Tune in to this episode to see who will come out victorious and claim their prize!
