The Real Housewives franchise has been a popular reality TV show that follows the lives of affluent women in various cities across the United States for over a decade. However, in 2016, the franchise made its way to Auckland, New Zealand, introducing a new group of women to its already dedicated fanbase.

The Real Housewives of Auckland follows the lives of six women who represent the city's lifestyle, fashion, and social scenes. Each character brings something unique to the show and is different from the traditional archetype of a housewife found in the franchise.

The first woman introduced is Anne Batley-Burton, who is known in the show for being a property developer and designer. She has, at first glance, the most inviting personality, and seems to be a strong advocate for personal growth, happiness and satisfaction.
