Ep 1. Treehouse of Horror II

In "Treehouse of Horror II," the second Halloween special of "The Simpsons," the family gathers in their treehouse to tell three spooky stories. The first segment, "The Monkey's Paw," is a retelling of the classic horror story in which the Simpsons are given a cursed monkey paw that grants wishes, but with disastrous consequences. In the second segment, "Bart's Nightmare," Bart eats too much candy and falls asleep, experiencing a surreal and terrifying dream in which he must navigate through a twisted and dangerous version of his own town. Finally, in "Lisa's Nightmare," Lisa discovers that the school cafeteria is serving a new and disturbing ingredient in its food, leading to a nightmare in which the citizens of Springfield are transformed into zombies. Throughout the episode, the writers and animators take plenty of creative liberties, offering up surreal and disturbing imagery that is sure to send chills down viewers' spines.
