Ep 7. Lisa Gets an "A"

When Bart accidentally burns down Springfield Elementary's prized possessions -- a collection of rare books -- Lisa saves the day. After being assigned a history report, Lisa struggles to find a topic that will keep her interested -- that is, until she is inspired by a hidden message in one of the burned books. Once the report is due, Lisa, unable to complete it, pretends to be sick. Using Marge's pills, Lisa fakes a fever and tricks her family into thinking she has developed an unknown virus, called the "Osaka flu." With everyone convinced of her sickness, Lisa uses the opportunity to rewrite her report. When her teacher discovers her deception, he gives her an "A" for her paper, but Lisa is plagued with guilt and confesses her scheme to the entire school.
