In the latest episode of The Simpsons, titled "E My Sports," the citizens of Springfield become obsessed with all things sports, thanks to an app that promises to improve their enjoyment and understanding of the games.
When Bart befriends the developers of the app, he convinces them to demo it in Springfield. Soon, everyone is glued to their screens, and the app becomes the talk of the town.
But as the app's influence grows, it starts to have some unexpected consequences. Marge worries that Homer's new obsession with football is driving a wedge between them, while Lisa becomes disillusioned with the culture of sports fandom.
Meanwhile, Bart's friendship with the app developers is put to the test when they reveal their true intentions for the app. Can he convince them to do the right thing, or will Springfield be forever changed by the influence of E My Sports?
