Ep 19. Simpson Tide

In the ninth season's nineteenth episode of The Simpsons, titled "Simpson Tide," Homer Simpson joins the Naval Reserve to pay off a sizable debt he owes to the family's credit card company. He quickly excels in the program, becoming the captain of his own submarine, the USS Lisa Simpson.

However, things take a turn when Homer accidentally disobeys a direct order from his superior officer, Rear Admiral Simpson. As punishment, Homer and his crew are sent on a seemingly suicidal mission to test a new missile defense system, and any wrong move could result in the end of their lives.

Meanwhile, back at home, Marge Simpson faces her own challenges when she decides to enter the world of real estate and try to sell a house that was once inhabited by a notorious and deceased mobster.

The episode is full of humor, as well as some surprising moments of drama as Homer and his crew try to navigate their dangerous assignment. As always, The Simpsons manages to find humor in even the most serious situations, making this episode a memorable one in the show's long history.
