On their way to Saylague, they get attacked by a sorcerer with the Sward of Light. His incredible skill puts them in a pinch, but Zangles, who once was their enemy, appears and helps them. With his help, Lina gives the sorcerer a blow. Under his mask appears brain-washed Gourry's face.
