Ep 5. First Shot a Winner, Lads

In The Terror season 1 episode 5, "First Shot a Winner, Lads," tensions between the crews of the HMS Erebus and HMS Terror continue to escalate as they navigate through the treacherous Arctic terrain. With supplies running low and the harsh winter still raging on, the men must find a way to survive.

A crucial hunting party is sent out in search of game, but when they return with no success, Captain Crozier (Jared Harris) is forced to make a difficult decision that may put the crew's safety at risk.

Meanwhile, tensions rise between Dr. Goodsir (Paul Ready) and Cornelius Hickey (Adam Nagaitis) as the latter continues to manipulate those around him for his own gain. A flashback to Hickey's past sheds some light on his character and motivations.

As the crew grows increasingly desperate, supernatural occurrences begin to plague the ships, causing paranoia and fear to spread throughout. With danger lurking around every corner, the crew must band together to survive the harsh conditions of the Arctic and the unknown entity that seems to be haunting them.
