Ep 6. A Mercy

In The Terror season 1 episode 6, titled "A Mercy", tensions continue to rise among the crew of the HMS Erebus and Terror as they continue to be stranded in the Arctic. The episode begins with a flashback to Captain Francis Crozier's past, revealing more of his troubled history and strained relationship with Sir John Franklin.

As supplies become scarce and the crew begins to suffer from exposure, the situation grows more desperate. The cold and darkness of the Arctic winter weigh heavily on everyone, and as they struggle to survive, they begin to turn on each other.

As tensions come to a head, a group of men sets out on a dangerous mission to retrieve supplies from a deserted camp. Their journey is treacherous and fraught with peril, and not everyone will return.

Throughout the episode, the sense of dread and hopelessness only deepens, as the crew faces one setback after another. It's a haunting exploration of human conflict and survival in the face of extreme hardship.
