Ep 6. Who Are You Now?

In season 9 episode 6 of The Walking Dead, entitled "Who Are You Now?", the show picks up six years after the devastating war between the communities and the Saviors. The episode focuses on a new group of survivors who have formed a community called the Hilltop, led by Maggie's right hand man, Jesus. We see how much Michonne has changed in the six years since the war. She is now a stern and no-nonsense leader, focused solely on the safety of her people. She struggles with the idea of letting Magna's group stay at Hilltop, but ultimately decides to help them. Judith, however, is much more open and trusting, and forms a friendship with Magna's group, particularly with a young girl named R.J.

The episode also focuses heavily on the theme of identity. Judith struggles with her place in the world, feeling torn between the life she knew before and the life she has now. She also feels the weight of being the daughter of Rick Grimes, a man who is considered a legend in this new world. Meanwhile, Michonne is confronted with her past and has to come to terms with the fact that she is not the same person she was before. Magna's group also has their own identities to grapple with, and they must prove to the others that they are not a threat.
