The Way of the Househusband Season 1 Episode 6 Episode 6
In Episode 6 of The Way of the Househusband, titled "Gokudo Bride," we see Tatsu, the notorious former yakuza boss turned househusband, taking on a whole new challenge: wedding planning.
It all starts when Tatsu's friend Masa asks him to plan his wedding, since his fiancee has been too busy with work to do so herself. Tatsu, ever eager to help out a friend, agrees. However, he quickly discovers that wedding planning is not as easy as he initially thought.
First, he goes shopping for a wedding dress for the bride-to-be, but ends up accidentally buying one meant for a child. He then tries to make up for his mistake by purchasing the most expensive adult wedding dress he can find, but it turns out to be a little too revealing for Masa's conservative fiancee.
Undeterred, Tatsu moves on to planning the reception. However, he finds himself struggling to come up with a menu that will suit all of the guests, who have various dietary restrictions and preferences. He even ends up enlisting the help of his wife, Miku, to help him figure out what to serve.
Meanwhile, Masa's fiancee is growing increasingly frustrated with Tatsu's unconventional approach to wedding planning. She finds his yakuza past and his lack of knowledge about wedding etiquette to be off-putting, and worries that he will ruin the wedding.
In spite of all this, Tatsu remains determined to make the wedding a success. He works tirelessly to ensure that every detail is perfect, from the flowers to the music. And in the end, his efforts pay off: the wedding goes off without a hitch, and everyone has a great time.
As the episode comes to a close, we see Tatsu reflecting on the experience. Though he may not have been the most knowledgeable or experienced wedding planner, he still managed to pull it off. And that's because he cares deeply about his friends and his family, and will do whatever it takes to make them happy.
